Ritual bath in the Yamuna temple hot springs
Because
of the geological location of the temple, water from the river flows through
fissures in the mountain that generate hot springs. Below is the men's
bathing area. An enclosed area for women is located nearby. An additional
hot water spring provides a location for pilgrims to boil small bags of
rice to take home with them as sacred food, prasad, to share with
family and neighbors.
